Peartree Park Skate Project.Stevenage.
MBA mentors will be at the park on wednesdays between 5 and 6pm. Go along meet them and find out whats happening and when .
There will be a 3 year programme for you guys. This includes skate coaching for beginners and girls only sessions, first aid training, workshops to help you gain an ASDAN youth award, competitions with prizes and trips to bigger skate parks.
We also want to set up a youth skate park comittee to advise SBC on future skate parks in Stevenage.
Summer Cheerleading and Basketball Bonanza
This summer 24th July - 1st september 2006
Stevenage Leisure Centre, Lytton Way, Stevenage.
Everyday Monday to Friday
10am - 1pm Cheerleading £5 a session
1pm - 4pm Basketball £5 a session
Book 5 sessions in one week and only pay for 4/
Cheerleading - Bookings made through Stevenage Leisure LTD
Top coaching from internationally qualified NCSSE coaches.
Learn skills such as arm motions, cheers, chants.
Dance moves, jumps, partner stunts, pyramids.
Trampolining coaching will also be provided throughout the summer as part of the course.
come to 10 or more sessions and achieve an ASDAN youth challenge award.
Special achievement awards given to those who excell their level or achieve certain stunts.
Basketball - Bookings made through Stevenage Leisure LTD
Excellent coaching from top EBA qualified coaches.
Skills will include footwork, passing, dribbling, shooting.
man to man defense, 3v3 and 5v5 games.
Scrimages and game situation plays.
Awards given for MVP, MIP and more.
Those attending 10 or more sessions will gain an ASDAN youth challenge award.
